This is an example of an extreme close up, you sometimes use it to show reaction, expression and emotion.

This is an example of a close up, this is used to show only part of the characters identity

this is an example of a 3/4 shot, you see more of the mis-en-scene.

This is an example of a medium shot.

This is a medium long shot which involves the whole of the characters body.

This is an example of an long shot, which shows the whole of the setting. 

This is an over the shoulder shot, its used when speech is involved.

Preliminary Task Introduction

continuity task involving filming and editing a character opening a door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialodue. This task should demonstrate match oin action, shot/reverse shot and the 180-degree rule.
